INIRA® clamping

Simply faster and more ergonomic.

Previously, enormous effort was required to clamp racks to the machine bed using screw clamps. INIRA® clamping integrates the clamping device in the rack. The rack incorporates a assembly sleeve which is guided over the head of the fastening screw to ensure quick and ergonomic clamping.

Very short assembly times
The time required for assembly has been cut by up to 50%, depending on the application.

Optimized assembly ergonomics
The assembly process is simple and effortless, reducing the physical strain on the assembly team to a minimum.

Extreme ease of assembly
Engineers no longer have to focus on an assembly friendly clamping of the rack. This opens completely new design possibilities.

Assembly procedure

1

The rack is positioned on the mounting base.

2

Hexagon socket screws are inserted and screwed in.

3

Assembly sleeves are fitted.

4

The rack is clamped by tightening the assembly sleeves.  The screws are tightened to full torque. The eccentric sleeves are loosened again, removed and reused.

INIRA® adjusting

Simply safer and more precise.

In combination with INIRA® clamping, INIRA® adjusting is the ideal solution for perfectly adjusting the transition between two rack segments. The innovativesetting tool can adjust the transition extremely reliably and precisely, accurate to the micrometer.

Maximum assembly precision
Precise aligned transitions ensure highest positioning accuracy of the linear drive system along the hole movement path.

Shortest adjusting times
Significant reduction of assembly and control effort at rack transition.

INIRA® pinning

INIRA® pinning. Simply better and more efficient.

The previous method used for pinning racks was immensely time-consuming. Precision bores had to be drilled and the chips generated had to be removed carefully from the component. INIRA® pinning now offers a completely new solution for the chipless pinning of racks, which reduces assembly times considerably.

97.78 % time savings
Simple pinning of the rack in one minute instead of 45 minutes in previous cases.

No drilling and reaming, 100 % fewer chips
Outstandingly safe because no chips are generated during the pinning process. No need for time-consuming cleaning work after assembly.

Exceptionally easy assembly
Assembly work significantly reduced. Easy to handle in any mounting position.

Assembly procedure

1

The mounting pin is inserted in the fully assembled rack.

2

The mounting pin is driven into the pre-manufactured pin bore in the adjacent component.

3

The assembly sleeve and the assembly pin are turned in opposite directions until the sleeve engages in the pin bore and then pushed in by hand up to the second marking.

4

The mounting sleeve is then driven in flush using a hammer.

Amazing how an established, decades-old method can be completely redefined. The work involved is much less than before.
