Very high dynamics and maximum positioning accuracy
The new OPTIPLEX 3015 FIBER II laser cutting machine has a fibre laser oscillator available with a continuous rated output of 2, 3, 4 and 6 kW. High laser power is fed directly to the cutting head. The machine is consequently ideal for cutting thin metal sheets at very high speed, as well as thicker material at slower feed rates. It offers more stable cut performance and greater throughput for applications utilizing mild steel, stainless steel, copper, brass, bronze or aluminium, for example.
The OPTIPLEX 3015 FIBER II's high rapid travel speeds of 120 m/min on the X and Y axes and 60 m/min on the Z axis are particularly impressive. The laser cutting machine also achieves excellent positioning accuracy, namely ±0.05/500 mm on the X and Y axes and ±0.01/100 mm on the Z axis. Its repeatability sets more benchmarks at ±0.03 mm.
Sustainability and ease of use were key development priorities for the OPTIPLEX 3015 FIBER II: the machine’s electrical power consumption is approximately 35% lower during operation, than comparable machines with CO2 resonators. Laser gas has been dispensed with completely.
